Nagel, Nagel Advertising has a staff of highly skilled marketing professionals that strive to give each of our client partners a big agency experience with boutique agency attention. Paul G. Nagel
Chief Executive Officer
Paul was the founding partner of a 30+ staffed agency when he left to start Nagel Advertising in 1995. Since 1991, he has had direct involvement with Buffalo Wild Wings and their founding principals in developing the overall brand identity. He manages the North American advertising and marketing effort for Seves Glass Block, the world’s leading glass block and glass tile manufacturer. He also manages the national and local marketing and creative strategies for Hot Head Burritos, Milano’s Atlantic City Subs, Romeo’s Pizza corporate and select co-op groups. Paul has over 20 years of automotive marketing experience focusing on luxury/specialty vehicle advertising and he develops and implements regional marketing campaigns for major motorcycle and ATV manufacturers and dealerships. Paul has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Advertising and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ashland University.
Maria brings a robust background in concert and event promotion with over 20 years experience in marketing, sponsorship sales, and event development. She consistently exceeded performance goals and won national innovation awards at House of Blues / Live Nation for developing and implementing custom sponsorship programs for clients such as FirstMerit Bank, Scion/Toyota, Coors Brewing, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Nabisco, Kraft Foods, RJ Reynolds and many more. She currently represents the marketing arm of various concert venues and independent concert promoters across the U.S.A. and Canada on a daily basis. She is also skilled in creating and evaluating non-traditional revenue streams for a variety of organizations from local government to charities to rock concerts. Maria has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from Bowling Green State University.
Raymond N. Nagel
Chief Operating Officer
Ray has been with his brother, Paul, to help grow our agency from nearly the beginning. Not only does he run an extremely tight ship, but he has excellent proofreading and troubleshooting skills combined with a keen attention to detail & deadline. Ray is also responsible for overseeing the buying and deployment of millions of Direct Mail and in-store P.O.S. campaigns for dozens of clients in multiple markets across the U.S. on a weekly basis. He also specializes in full-scale manufacturer co-op management. Ray has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice from Kent State University.
Vice President/Senior Account Director
Ryan has over 20 years of ad agency experience and has worked directly with national clients such as John Deere, Moen, First Merit Bank and more. He serves as a professor in the marketing department at Akron University and specializes in complete social media campaign development and management. If you are a native to NEO you may have also visited one of the most terrifying haunted houses in the area, Carnival of Horrors- a passion project Ryan has had for nearly 30 years. Outside of the office, Ryan loves playing hockey, attending punk concerts, and hanging out with his son and best friend Keegan.
Senior Digital Marketing Director
Megan joined the Nagel Advertising team in 2021 bringing with her over 10 years of “big agency” work experience. Throughout her career she has specialized in; designing robust media plans by blending traditional and digital marketing strategies, analytics and measurement, client services, project management, and has touched just about every other area of the marketing world you can think of from direct mail to event planning, and more. She’s a fanatic when it comes to leading clients through the digital transformation and helping to implement solid digital marketing plans that generate sales leads. The best part of her job is when she gets to share analytical proof and results that a client’s marketing dollars are in fact turning into sales. Outside of work she is a #girlmom that loves a good restaurant, a long walk, and sneaking in a round of golf from time to time.
After graduating from college with her BFA in Graphic Design, Karen McFarland began her career as a designer in the computer software industry. Since then her knowledge of design has grown while working in various other industries including printing, publishing, public service, food, automotive, and advertising. Karen has over 25 years of experience as a designer--14 of those years have been with Nagel Advertising. She has made it a goal to continually learn, grow and adapt to the ever-changing demands of today's business culture and marketing trends.
John C (Jack) Wilcox III
Jack has provided accounting services for Nagel Advertising for over 25 years and prides himself in accountability, integrity and excellence in his services. He is responsible for complete accounting services including accounts payable, accounts receivable, client account reconciliation and financial reporting. Jack graduated from Ohio State University with a BS degree in accounting and finance and lives in Sharon Center, OH with his wife and 2 dogs.
Pete carries on a tradition of finding a better way to help move businesses forward through the efficient blending of creative advertising and ad production strategies. Pete works on determining the best way for us to visually represent our clients' identities and objectives for television and video. He is involved in the development of high-level concepts for advertising projects and working with internal and external clients, pitching scripts and concepts, and understanding client needs.
